The Museum of Warmia and Mazury received over PLN 13 million for the project "Conservation and restoration of the fourteenth-century castle in Lidzbark Warmiński - pearls of Gothic architecture in Poland".
Ceremonial completion of the project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbark Castle"
On Wednesday, May 18, 2011, the ceremonial completion of the project "Rescue conservation works of the cloisters of the Lidzbark Castle" took place at the Warmia Museum in Lidzbark Warmiński. As part of the project, the cloisters of the Lidzbark castle were subjected to conservation works, on which gothic wall polychromes depicting scenes with religious themes were discovered. Other activities included, m.in, work on the roof, facades, stone elements, replacement of installations.
