We plant flowers in the "Theatre of Flowers"
We plant plants in a dry moat; flowers, perennials, shrubs - in the "Theatre of Flowers" work is in full swing, the weather is favourable!
Allegory of Summer
The first seedlings have already been planted in the "Theatre of Flowers", and we present the second sculpture, which will be placed in the bishop's gardens in the spring.

Yesterday was a beautiful sun and a day of planting and looking after the already planted plants in the emerging garden in the dry moat and on the zwinger around the castle.

Despite the bad weather, intensive works are underway in the dry moat of the Lidzbark castle, and three eighteenth-century sculptures are waiting to be placed in the arranged bishop's gardens.
Castle Gardens
There is more and more going on in our castle gardens, t.zw. The connector of the Grabowski Palace, where there will be a passage from the gardens to the castle and a hidden elevator for the disabled, is almost ready.

Intensive works are underway related to the development of the area of the dry moat under the bridge leading to the Lidzbark castle.
Maintenance of the organ prospectus
Conservation of the organ prospect in the castle chapel is underway. This week there was a partial acceptance of the works. After thorough cleaning, the loss of gilding and the paint layer will now be replenished. The conservation of the prospectus is carried out by RENOVACJA Hubert Ramotowski.

The link between the palace of bishop Grabowski on the eastern zwinger is taking shape, and we can not wait for the final effects.
Bishop's Gardens
The bishop's gardens are beginning to take shape, literally, the outline of the THEATRE OF FLOWERS is already visible, which will be in the eastern part of the dry moat.
Castle organ
The castle organ is currently under conservation, and its history will be presented by Prof. Krzysztof Urbaniak from the Academy of Music in Łódź.
Sculpture conservation
Three eighteenth-century garden sculptures have returned from conservation, which until now had been exhibited in the castle lapidarium.
Maintenance and renovation of the eastern wall
The defensive and retaining walls surrounding the castle are currently undergoing thorough conservation and renovation. In the pictures the eastern wall.
Castle bridge over the dry moat of the XX century
The restoration works undertaken in the 20s of the 20th century carried out by Karl Hauke covered, m.in, the area of the dry moat.
