Do it in the castle! Warmia Castle/Museum in Lidzbark Warmiński as the center of the regional business and cultural network.

We train for you
We train for you!

This time in something completely unobvious. From 7 to 10 September, our partners from Høgskulen for grøn utvikling shared with us their knowledge on how to use the potential of cultural heritage in local development. The training was conducted by Dr. Rhys Evans and Johan Barstadt.
Thanks to the project "Conservation and restoration of the fourteenth-century castle in Lidzbark Warmiński – pearls of Gothic architecture in Poland – iii stage" we could benefit from their almost 30 years of experience in the field of social economy and supporting local development in agricultural areas.

Of course, the topic of the workshop forced us, museologists, to go beyond the usual comfort zone, but nothing good comes without effort! At the first of the planned meetings m.in, we allowed tools to assess the potential of our resources. We learned to combine social initiatives with business. We also compared the situation of our region to agricultural areas in other European countries (m.in the Czech Republic, Scotland, Lithuania and Latvia).

As a result, we devoted most of our "coffee" breaks to switching new ideas to projects and initiatives for the coming years. Now it remains only to develop them and... who knows maybe you will hear about them soon?
Meanwhile, we would like to thank our partners for a fantastic meeting and see you at the next one!
Takk vakre og vi sees snart!
