Three eighteenth-century garden sculptures have returned from conservation, which until now had been exhibited in the castle lapidarium.

Sculpture conservation
This is an allegory of Summer, from the "Four Seasons" series, Fire, from the "Elements" series and Neptune. They will decorate the bishop's gardens recreated in the dry moat, for now they have to wait, a little to the side, in the shade of lilac, in a moment they will also be covered and secured. We invite you to the gardens and admire the sculptures in the spring of next year.

The conservation of the sculptures was carried out as part of the project: Conservation and restoration of the fourteenth-century castle in Lidzbark Warmiński – pearls of gothic architecture in Poland – stage III" co-financed from funds received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under EEA funds, from the state budget and co-financed by the Self-Government of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Together, we work towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
